The Odd Architectural Assignment….

The Odd Architectural Assignment….

Though now mostly a portrait and landscape photographer, I still regularly get calls, and am called back to my early commercial photography days when I had something of a specialty in architectural and interior photography in the Washington, D.C. area.  In the 90’s, I was first assistant to the great architectural shooter Maxwell Mackenzie, from whom I learned a great deal about composition, light and lighting…. not to mention, how to run the gig so things were done by the end of the day!    Here are a few examples of some recent work. This skill still comes in real handy for some of my editorial and corporate clients! [You can find more of my architectural photography at www.matsilphotography.com]AR030808_2215AR030808_2202
